Welcome! This website is currently under construction and will contain much more information soon.
For now I would like to share the list of resources that I found most useful over the years of searching and testing. I am very meticulous in researching sources, ingridients, and other aspects of the products.
Buying supplements and cosmetics on-line is almost
always much more affordable. The two websites below have been around for many
years, they're reliable and offer great discounts.
www.iherb.com - show expiration dates for all
products, very timely deliver, many product reviews by customers, extra
discounts on larger purchases. You can use my referral code LUK642 to get $5 off
your first order.
www.smartbomb.com - nice product selection, will
send monthly 10% off discounts if you sign-up for their newsletter.
What supplements and cosmetics do I buy?
I love New Chapter brand except for their probiotics.
I love all Dr. Bronner's products. I use their soaps for
everything (hair, bathing, dishwashing, etc.). I like adding my own essential
oils to their baby mild formula if I want a fragrance.
I love Weleda (except Iris - the smell is too strong for
me) and Dr. Hauschka (except the products containing penut oil). I use many of
their products except for face washes and exfoliants, those are too oily for me;
Dr. Bronner's baby mild soap works much better for my face.
After moving from NYC to Chicago suburbs, I had to search
for some producst that were not available at the stores. Below is the list
of resources that I collected while serching for quality food. I am pro-local
food as much as possible, but when there are no good options, I am very greatful
for having internet.
www.bluemountainorganics.com
- I love better than roasted nut butters. I can taste and feel the difference.
BTR almond butter is my favourite.
www.livingtreecommunity.com
- These guys sell excellent raw nut butters and other raw products.
www.grassfedtraditions.com
- grass-fed meats.
www.goodearthfarms.com -
grass-fed meat from a farm in Wisconsin.
www.grasslandbeef.com -
grass-fed meat.
www.pastureland.coop - grass-fed butter and
cheese; great butter, the only better type I tried was raw cultured Amish butter
from PA.
Some other healthy products worth considering:
drbenkim.com/sunshop - collection of products created and/or recommended by
Dr. Kim (I love his Super Greens and anti-bug spray).
mountainvalleyspring.com -
Mountain Valley water delivery in glass containers; this is arguably the highest
quality water available; there are pros and cons to water delivery vs. high
quality water filter. We use both.
tropicaltraditions.com -
exceptional quality coconut oil and products containing it, plus other natural
products.
The following websites are newsletters/info-websites that I read and find
trustworthy and informative:

www.westonaprice.org (look at health
topics; they also publish excellent quarterly journal on nutrition -
Wise Traditions)
